This 2025 the Helikon-opera theatre turns 35 years old! And so many things have happened in our theater over these years, so many legendary performances have been born, so many landmark meetings have happened that it is impossible to list all.

From 9 to 13 July 2024 the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet theatre named after Dmitry Hvorostovsky will play three repertory performances in the Stravinsky Hall of the Moscow Musical Theater Helikon-opera.

On May 24 the final gala concert of the VI International Competition of Young Opera Directors "Nano-Opera" took place on the stage of the Stravinsky Hall and we learned the names of the winners!

Dear friends, the qualifying round for participation in the Third young opera artists Programme at the Helikon-opera Theater and ANCO Art-Helios, organized by our theater with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives of the Russian Federation, has ended. We are pleased to announce the names of young artists who will take part in the final round on 3 June 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Stravinsky Hall!

On May 20 the VI International competition of young opera directors "Nano-Opera" will start at the Moscow Musical Theatre Helikon-Opera, but until then we are pleased to announce the panel of professional and media judges, which have already started.

The evening of the Old New Year’s Eve at the Helikon was marked by the birth of a new performance! The audience was delighted with Cherevichki – Tchaikovsky's bright, poetic and merry opera filled the hall with the energy of kindness and joy.

The performance authors: stage director Dmitry Bertman, conductor Evgeny Brazhnik, set designer Igor Nezhny, costume designer Tatyana Tulubieva, lighting designer Damir Ismagilov, choreographer Edvald Smirnov, and choir conductor Evgeny Ilyin, all the soloists, choir artists, and orchestra member were able to achieve the main thing - empathy for the characters.
