ТHELIKON-OPERA THEATRE ANNOUNCES CHANGES IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE THEATRE
On September 17, a company meeting took place at the Moscow Musical Theatre Helikon-opera, where it was announced changes in the leadership of the theatre.
Minister of Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Culture of Moscow Alexey Fursin attended the company meeting. Alexey Anatolyevich told about his meeting with Dmitry Bertman and said that the changes in the management of the theatre were made at the personal request of Dmitry Alexandrovich.
Dmitry Alexandrovich Bertman, People's Artist of Russia, founder of the Helikon-opera Theatre, who previously held the post of General Director and Artistic Director of Helikon-opera, becomes President of the theatre.
Dmitry Alexandrovich Bertman will focus on strategic issues of theater development. The creative life of Helikon-opera will be carried out under his leadership.
Ilya Anatolyevich Ilin, Honored Worker of Culture of Russia, winner of the Moscow Prize, was appointed to the post of Artistic Director and Marina Nikolaevna Vozhakina was named Director.
Ilya Anatolyevich Ilyin works at Helikon-opera since 1993. For more than 20 years, he is a theater director and director of creative groups: soloists, choir and orchestra.
Marina Nikolaevna Vozhakina has been overseeing financial matters in the theater for over 20 years and she is well versed in the administrative and organizational aspects of the Theater.
