2019/09/17On September, 19 we will present our famous performance “Die Fledermaus” by J. Strauss on the VEF theatre’s stage (Riga). On September, 20 the soloists will take part in the concert together with Riga Chamber Orchestra in the House of the Blackheads.

2019/07/17From 23 to 28 of July Helikon-opera will present 7 performances in the framework of the festival “Saaremaa opera days”, including the world premiere of “Mr. Georg Ots”.

2019/05/17Today is a very important day for our theatre. From now on one more masterpiece of P. I. Tchaikovsky has appeared in the Helikon-opera’s repertoire.

2019/04/25IV International competition for young opera directors “Nano-opera” has announced the names of participants! From over one hundred people, who have sent the applications, only 13 are admitted to the competition. We are thankful to everybody, who have sent the applications and we hope to meet you in 2021, when the anniversary 5th “Nano-opera”!

2019/04/08On April 7 “Helikon-opera” and Deutsche Oper am Rhein have signed the cooperation agreement. In the framework of the “Russian seasons” in October 2019 our theatre will go on tour to Germany. In Düsseldorf and Duisburg the helikonians will present the gala-concert “From Russia with love”.

2019/03/27From March 27 to 31 the premiere of “Orlando, Orlando” performance based on music of G. Handel and Gabriel Prokofiev took place in the Helikon-opera. Congratulations to our soloists, actors, everybody who helped us to fell in love to the baroque music, who gifted us these emotions, these feelings, these thoughts and experience!

2019/03/26On March 26 the ceremony of signing the cooperation agreement between Moscow musical theatre “Helikon-opera” and “Cesvir” (Centro Economia e Sviluppo Italo-Russo) took place in the “Helikon-opera”.

2019/03/06On the 13th of March the Helikon-opera actors will perform in Palace of Festivals and Conferences (Cannes, France) with the theatrical gala-concert “The legends of the Moscow opera”.

2019/02/18From 21 to 22 of February in Vienna in the Theater an der Wien the heliconians will present the “pearls” of the opera art, the masterpieces of the great P.I. Tchaikovsky: “Mazeppa”, “Undina” and “Iolanta”.

2019/01/22We are glad to inform that Mikhail Davydov - the soloist of “Helikon-opera” is nominated fro the “Grammy” award in the category “Best choral performance” with the conductor Vladimir Gorbik and the soloist Vladimir Krasov. Earlier they have recorded the album of the sacred music “Teach Me Thy Statutes” (2016).

2019/01/10Jan Latham-Koenig will conduct the January shows “Un Ballo In Maschera” G. Verdi. For the 1st time maestro from UK will stand to the conductor’s desk of Helikon.
