One of the best mezzo-sopranos of "Helikon-Opera" honoured artist of Russia Larisa Kostiuk happily combines in herself the beautiful voice and drama talent.

Larisa graduated from musical college named after Gnessins and Moscow University of Culture. Owner of two gold medals in "Opera" nomination of the I World Championship of Performing Arts in Los Angeles (USA). Since 1995 is a soloist of "Helikon-Opera". She is a first performer of a main part in monoopera "Eva" by I. Bardanashvili (the performance was awarded with The Golden Mask, the Russian National theatre prize in "Novation" nomination.

Larisa was touring Austria, Germany, Italy, China, Lebanon, USA, France, Great Britain, Spain, Sweden.

Repertoire of Larisa Kostiuk consists of the world famous mezzo-soprano parts. Her clear, strong and smooth voice sounds very well in the parts of the Russian opera heroines - Liubasha from "The Tsar's Bride", Marina Mniszek from "Boris Godunov", Olga from "Eugene Onegin" - this part Larisa performed in Royal Swedish Opera (Stockholm and in Parisian Opera de Bastille. Larisa's inflammatory temperament and charmig feminity allowed her to create unforgettable images of Carmen, Azucena, Rosina...

On the 26th of February during Larisa's recital you will hear the best arias from famous operas. The honoured artist of Russia Vadim Zaplechny and orchestra of "Helikon-Opera" also take part in the recital/ Conductor - Alexander Voloschuk.
