"Boris Godunov" in "Helikon-opera"

Moscow musical theatre "Helikon-opera" under Dmitry Bertman presents

the 15th, 16th, 17th and the 18th of March

On the 15th, 16th, 17th and the 1th of March "Boris Godunov" performance will take place on stage of "Helikon-opera",

Te performance was staged by the Artistic director of the theatre The People's Artist of Russia Dmitry Bertman in 2006. Musical director of the perfromance The People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Ponkin. The set and costume designers The Honoured Artists of Russia Tatiana Tulubieva and Igor Nezhny.

"Helikon-opera" theatre presented "Boris Godunov" for many times on different world's stages: on stage of New Israeli opera in Tel Aviv, in Italian town of Reggio di Emilia, on stage of Opera de Massy in Paris, France, on stage of Bartok+ festival in Miskolc,  Hungary, on stage of Sofia National Opera in Bolgaria, at international music festival in San Sebastian in Spain. This year "Boris Godunov" is one of the performances that will be presented at "The Days of Opera in Saaremaa" international festival in Estonia.

On the 15th, 16th, 17th and the 18th of March The People's Artist of Russia Eugene Brazhnik will be conducting the performance for the first time. Some more premieres are awaited as well. On the 18th of March a part of Boris will be perfomed by Dmitry Skorikov, soloist of the theatre. On the 16th of March a part of Schelkalov will be performed by a young soloist, a graduate of Vishnevskaya Opera centre, a laureate of international contests Konstantin Brzhinsky. On the 16th of March Shinkarka's part will be performed by Alexandra kovalevich, a star of "The Big Opera" project on "Culture" TV channel. Mikhail Nikanorov will perform The Officer on the 16th and 17th of March.
