Artists of "Helikon-Opera" took part in a benefit performance, devoted to Mark Zakharov
On the 11th of April the benefit performance was given in Vakhtangov's theatre in honour of Mark Zakharov. Artistic director of "LENCOM" theatre is a holder of Chrystal Turandot prize, which celebrates 20th anniversary this year. The founders of the prize decided to celebrate in honour of the most famous holders of the prize. After the benefit performances of Yulia Borisova and Maria Aronova the benefit in Mark Zakharov's honour was given.
Colleagues of Mark Zakharov from "Lenkom" theatre and his friends came to greet the master. Artistic director of "Helikon-Opera" Dmitry Bertman greeted Mark from the stage and handed him a bunch of flowers. Soloists of the theatre the Honoured Artists of Russia Anna Grechishkina and Ekaterina Oblezova, soloists Svetlana Sozdateleva, Svetlana Rossiyskaya, Mikhail Davydov and Andrey Palamarchuk, saying opera singers are Jacks of all trades, performed... "Swan's Dance" by P. Tchaikovsky. The famous announcer Igor Kirillov was the host of the evening.
