The celebration of the Student Day in MSU

On the 24th and 25th of January in Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov the traditional celebration of St. Tatiana's Day was held. On the first day of the celebration early in the morning the Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov together with "Helikon-Opera" artists came to congratulate students of Fundamental Medicine faculty.

This is already the third joint stage work of the Mayor and artists of "Helikon". In 2005 on the jubilee of MSU Y. M. Luzhkov dressed as Mikhail Lomonosov together with Helikon artists presented to students the ode of his own composing. In 2006 he visited the celebration to gether with Tatiana from Pushkin's Eugene Onegin.

This year the city's chief, original, as usual, showed himself to students in another image. Dressed as Doctor Luzhkov told the students funny jokes and sang together with Helikon artists the song "Tatiana's Day". This image wasn't casual - the new building of the Fundamental Medicine faculty opened in MSU.

After his perfomance Yuri Mikhailovich spoke to artists and once more proved that reconstruction of "Helikon's" building on Bolshaya Nikitskaya was under his personal control and that the reconstruction would be finished at a stated time.
