A recital of Honoured Artist of Russia Alisa Gitsba
A recital of Honoured Artist of Russia Alisa Gitsba will be held in "Helikon-Opera" in Novy Arbat, 11 on the 8th of June.
Alisa Gitsba, one of the bright Helikon's vocalists, is famous for perfoming contemporary music. She was the first performer of vocal works by N. Sidelnikov, A. Schetinsky, A. Rybnikov, E. Denisov. The works by Francis Poulenc occupy the special place in singer's repertoire.
The rare works by Francis Poulenc will be performed. Monoopera "Human voice" after J. Cocteau play will be presented in the first act of the recital. Musical director and conductor Viktoria Unguryanu. In the second act the secular cantata "La bal masque" (lyrics by Max Jacob) will be performed. Production by Natalia Dychenko, musical director and conductor People's Artist of Russia Mark Pekarsky.
The secular cantata "La bal masque" were first performed by Alisa Gitsba during "December evenings" in Pushkin's museum in December 2006. And "Human voice" will be Alisa's first performance.
"Human voice" will be performed in Russian and "La bal masque" in French.
The director of the evening is Natalia Dychenko.
