One of the leading soloists of "Helikon-Opera", honoured artist of Russian Federation Vadim Zaplechny finished G. P. Ansimov course in GITIS musical theatre. In Rostov theatre of musical comedy he performed nearly 40 roles.
Vadim Zaplechy works with Dmitry Bertman since the foundation of "Helikon-Opera". He performs all large parts of tenor repertoire - Hermann in "The Queen of Spades", Radames in "Aida", Jose in "Carmen", Canio in "Pagliacci", Hoffmann in "Les Contes des Hoffmann", Eisenstein in "Die Fleidermaus", Alfred in "Traviata", Lensky in "Eugene Onegin" and so on.
Zaplechny proved himself on the main European stages as performer of the dramatic tenor parts in the works of Russian and foreign composers. Vadim Zaplechny is a large specialist of the XX century opera, one of his best roles is Serget in "Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk district" by Shostakovich, which he performed both in "Helikon-Opera" and Bolshoy theatre, and also in Dublin.
Vadim Zaplechny more than once toured Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Holland, Italy, Canada, USA, France, Finland, Monaco, Slovenia, Taiwan. He worked with famous conductors as M. Rostropovich, Y. Temirkanov, V. Ponkin, R. Bradshaw and others.
On 16th February he will performed the world famous arias.
