Artists of "Helikon-Opera" dedicated the "Back in the USSR!" performance to the Victory Day
On May 6, 7 and 8, 2015 on the stage of Helikon-Opera “Back in the USSR!” performances were held.
In honor of the Great Victory holiday Helikon-Opera has prepared a gift for the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and all the spectators , songs of the war years were added to the program.
These days, works by I. Dunayevsky, M. Blanter, J. Frenkel, T. Khrennikov and others were sang in Helikon-opera. At the end of the concert artists of the theater together with the audience sang "Victory Day" by D. Tukhmanov. Director of the production - People's Artist of Russia Dmitry Bertman, director - Ilya Ilin, conductor - Valery Kiryanov.
On May 8 the performance was shown for the veterans of the Great Patriotic War - doctors, members of the Club of the Survivors in the Leningrad blockade and musical-poetic saloon "On the banks of the Neva". All the spectators and artists of the theater had tears of pain and joy, and long applause accompanied every song of the show!
