Soloists "Helikon-Opera" performed at the opening of the "Giuseppe Verdi. Music and Culture" exhibition
The exhibition project "Giuseppe Verdi. Music and Culture", created by the 200th anniversary since composer's birth and successfully launched in Italy, opened in Moscow in the context of the Year of Tourism Italy-Russia 2013-2014 and the Year of Culture in Russia.
From July 2nd to August 31st, 2014 at the Memorial Manor of Fedor Chaliapin (Novinsky Boulevard, 25-27) authentic documentaries, illustrating the stages of life and creative career of the musician are exhibited.
General Director of the Russian Museum Association of Musical Culture named after M. Glinka, which include the Shalyapin memorial homestead, Mikhail Bryzgalov called the exhibition unique and advised everyone to visit it, as it will be held in Moscow only.
On June 30 soloists of "Helikon-Opera" Alexandra Kovalevich, Lydia Svetozarova, Andrey Palamarchuk and Maxim Perebeinos performed at the opening of the exhibition. They sang arias from Verdi's "Un ballo in maschera", "Rigoletto", "La Traviata", "Il Trovatore", "Falstaff" and the romance "La Seduzione". Concertmaster - Sergei Chechetko.
