Series of "Eugene Onegin" performance ended in Moscow musical theatre "Helikon-opera"
Repertoire performances of "Helikon-opera" always have a great success among public. This time series of "Eugene Onegin" by P. Tchaikovsky in Dmitry Bertman production ran a full house.
On the 24th and 26th of January spectators saw new soloists: Maxim Perebeynos (graduated from Moscow Conservatory in 2013) as Eugene Onegin, Igor Morozov (got the role as an award from Dmitry Bertman for participation in Elena Obraztsova’s contest) as Lensky, Maria Vorozheykina (student of Bertman’s workshop in RUTI-GITIS) as Tatiana, Olga Spitsina as Nanny.
On the 23rd and the 25th of January the following soloists of “Helikon-opera” were egaged in the performance: Alexey Isaev as Eugene Onegin, Elena Semenova as Tatiana, Vadim Letunov as Lensky.
For the artistic director of “Helikon-opera” theatre Dmitry Bertman the succession of generations is very important. “First of all, an actor is the most important in the theatre”
On the 26th of January Ada Einbinder, the Head of the section of written and printed sources of State Memorial Musical Museum Reserve of P. Tchaikovsky in the town of Klin, the recognised expert in the creative musical heritage of the XIXth century, visited “Eugene Onegin” performance and shared her warm impressions.
