Dmitry Bertman: "Elena Obraztsova is my Bolshoi theatre"

Elena Obraztsova celebrates the 50th anniversary of her creative activity. One concert in honour of this event happened in Saint-Petersburg, and on the 26th of December Moscow applauded to grand singer.

The artistic director of "Helikon-opera" Dmitry Bertman, an old friend and worshipper of the singer, together with Sviatoslav Belza, prepared the bright show with surprises in honour of the 50th anniversary of Elena Obraztsova. The gransiose opera ball took place on stage on historical stage of Bolshoi theatre.

The Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky read out the message from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

Together with ELena Obraztsova her colleagues Makwala Kasrashwili and Zurab Sotkilava entered the stage. The younger generation was presented by Khibla Gerzmava, Dinara Alieva, Denis Matzuev, Maksim Mironov, who prepared parts from Obraztsova's repertoire. The music of Tchaikovsky, Verdi, Rakhmaninov, Rossini, Donizetti and Bernstein sounded.
