"NANO-opera" at Gostiny Dvor
On the 16th of May the solemn opening of Russian Open Event Expo took place at Gostiny Dvor, Moscow. The artistic director of "Helikon-opera" Dmitry Bertman and artists of the theatre took part in the opening ceremony. Dmitry Bertman is a Chairman of All-Russian Contest at Event Tourism ("Culture" nomination), which is held in the context of the Expo.
In his welcome speech at the opening ceremony Dmitry Bertman stressed that topicality and value of cultural projects are increasing the touristic attraction of the city. Dmitry Bertman gave as an example the International contest of young stage directors “NANO-opera”, which the participants of different cities of Russia and CIS took part in. The creative contestb roused a big interest among the public and in the Moscow and regional press.
Dmitry Bertman presented the winner of “NANO-opera” contest, the stage director Dmitry Belyanushkin. A fregment from “Kaschey the Immortal” opera by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov in Dmitry Bertman’s production was given as an illustration. Ksenia Viaznikova performed a part of Kascheevna with artists of the choir. The piano’s part was performed by Elena Sosulnikova.
