"Malchishnik" in "Helikon-opera"
As is well-known, men always think of women. And speak of them often. The most talented even sing of them! At least, once a year!
On the 8th of March during a traditional "Malchishnik" all Helikon men sang about women and for women. Pianist Mikhail Egiazaryan, who more than once was making author programs on stage of "Helikon-opera" and Moscow International House of Music, gathered vocal masterpieces by Glinka, Rakhmaninov, Gavrilin, Gladkov and Tariverdiev in one concert.
The Honoured Artists of Russia vadim Zaplechny and Sergey Toptygin, laureates of international contests Konstantin Brzhinsky, Mikhail Davydov, Alexey Isayev, Alexander Kiselev, Vadim Letunov, Alexander Miminoshwili, Andrey Palamarchuk, Maksim Perebeynos, Mikhail Seryshev, Dmitry Khromov, Stanislav Shvets. The stage director of the concert Natalia Dychenko, concertmaster Mikhail Egiazaryan.
"Helikon" soloists think that it is not necessary to be like Mel Gibson from "What Females Want", it is necessary to have talent, love and inspiration to guess what they want. At least, once a year.
