Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras in "Helikon-opera"
On the 18th of February the stage of "Helikon-opera" in Novy Arbat was given to opera stars Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras. World famous tenors came to Moscow to participate in a charity concert in Christ the Savior Cathedral.
Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras have been rehearsing withthe musicians of Russian National Orchestra and little artists of Moscow parish choirs. |Helikon-opera" personnel warmly welcomed the honoured guests. P. Domingo and J. Carreras also briefly communicated with Artistric Director of "Helikon-opera" Dmitry Bertman, whom they had already known.
After the rehearsal Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras went to the appointment with Vladimir Putin, the President of Russian Federation in his residence in Novo-Ogarevo.
