"Il barbiere di Siviglia" on Helikon's stahe again

"Il Barbiere di Siviglia" in "Helikon-opera"

On the 3rd, 4th and the 5th of November "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" opera was shown again on stage of Moscow musical theatre "Helikon-opera". The performance was staged in 2007 by the artistic director of "Helikon-opera" Dmitry Bertman. Music director of the performance is Konstantin Tchudovsky. Set and costume designers Igor Nezny and Tatiana Tulubieva.

Valery Kiryanov was conducting this autumn series of "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" for the first time. On the 3rd, 4th and 5th of November Almaviva's part was performed by Dmitry Ivanchey. Last season Dmitry already sang this part. Working in Switzerland, he didn't left Moscow stage.

A part of Figaro was for the first time performed by Maxim Perebeynos (3rd and 5th of November) and Konstantin Brzhinsky (4th of November). On the 3rd of November Rosina's part was performed by Maria Maksakova, a deputy of Moscow State Duma. On the 4th and 5th of November Anna Grechishkina sang this part.

All performances were sold out, the spectators warmly received actors and applauded almost after each aria.

On the 3rd of November the Chairman of Moscow State Duma Sergey Naryshkin visited "Il Barbiere di Siviglia".
