Vasily Barkhatov's workshop was held in "Helikon-opera"

On the 18th of October the workshop of Russian theatrical stage-director Vasily Barkhatov took place on stage of Moscow musical theatre "Helikon-opera" in the context of the IIV International festival of contemporary arts "TERRITORIYA". Vasily Barkhatov, who is in charge of the music program of the festival, talked on the "Effective analysis of the musical drama" for students of Russian and foreign theatrical universities.

As the material for analysis Vasily Barkhatov chose Tchaikovsky's opera "Eugene Onegin". For greater clarity he demonstrated fragments of recording of his new play on the stage of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. Singers, graduates of the Moscow Conservatory Ksenia Leonidova, Helena Stikhina, Mikhail Gushchenko, Dmitry Trunov and concertmaster of the Bolshoi Theater Valery Gerasimov also took part in the master class.
