THe premiere of gala-concert Back in the USSR! in "Helikon-opera"

Moscow musical theater "Helikon-Opera" under Dmitry Bertman presented a new show "Back in the USSR!"

During the performance the audience was transferred to the "golden age" of Soviet song. Songs of Isaac Dunaevskiy, Vasily Solovyov-Sedoy, Nikita Bogoslovsky, Matthew Blanter, Boris Mokrousov, Tikhon Khrennikov, Yuri Milutin and Anatoly Lepin are performed in the new "Helikon-Opera"s production, and the line from Paul McCartney's song is an epigraph.

In the opinion of many reviewers "Helikon-Opera" found a real "gold mine" of optimism and good humor.

Artistic director of the production - Dmitry Bertman. Stage director - Ilya Ilyin. Choreographer - Edvald Smirnov. Music Director - Konstantin Chudovsky. Set and Costume designers - Igor Nezhny and Tatiana Tulubeva.

Natalia Zagorinskaya, Marina Andreeva, Ksenia Viaznikova, Larisa Kostyuk, Tatiana Kuindji, Andrey Vylegzhanin, Anatoly Ponomarev, Maya Barkovskaya, Elena Mikhailenko, Elena Semenova, Svetlana Rossiyskaya, Alexey Dedov, Alexei Isaev, Alexander Kiselev, Vadim Letunov, Alexander Miminoshvili, Peter Morozov, Mikhail Nikanorov, Andrew Palamarchuk, Dmitry Ponomarev, Dmitry Khromov, artists of the choir and orchestra of the theater took part in the performance.

Numerous guests, friends of the theate, the representatives of the diplomatic corps, creative and business elite attended the premiere.
