"Opera Fairy Tale Welcomes Guests" on stage of "Helikon-opera"
School spring holidays are marked with the special event in "Helikon-opera". From the 22nd to the 24th of March Moscow musical theatre "Helikon-opera" under Dmitry Bertman will show the lesson of "opera science", which your children will remember for many years - a performance "Opera Fairy Tale welcomes guests"
"Opera Fairy Tale welcomes guests" is an opera review for future music lovers. A magic city Tam-tam is on stage, there is also an orchestra with its conductor. The Story-teller Ole Lukoye introduces the citizens of a magic city to young spectators. A crazy professor demonstrates his invention - termenvox musical instrument. A clockwork doll Gamma sings Olympia couplets from "Les Contes d'Hoffmann". Papageno and Papagena play with city's inhabitants and spectators the play of "Green Little Men", but the Queen of Night immerses the city into complete darkness with the music from "Die Zauberflote" by W. A. Mozart. The Cats are singing Rossini's duet, the Magician-Chimnesweep plays the magic flutes and singing glasses. All inhabitants of the city come down into the hall and dance with spectators. At this moment A Lion from "Pyramus and Thisbe" attacks them, but it gets thrown away with the common efforts of the inhabitants and spectators. Everybody celebrates the victory with the March from Prokofiev's "The Love for Three Oranges".
Soloists, chorus and orchestra of "Helikon-opera" theatre are engaged in the performance. The Honoured Artist of Russia Denis Kirpanev will be at the conductor's stand.
