"Helikon-opera" performed at a Chrystal ball in honour of Vladimir Zeldin
The independent theatre prize "Chrystal Turandot" gave name to the ball, which is being held during this year for its laureates. On the 5th of March a ball was held in honour of the legend of Russian theatrical stage People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Zeldin. Colleagues, friends and worshippers congratulated their favourite actor. Among them were The People's Artists of USSR Alexey Batalov and Vladimir Vasiliev, The People's Artists of Russia Dmitry Nazarov and Levon Oganezov, The Honoured Artist of Russia Daniil Kramer, musicians Aidar Gainullin, Vadim Eilenkrieg and some others. Soloist of the "Helikopn-opera" theatre Alexander Miminoshwili performed "Don Quixote's serenade" by D. Kabalevsky (concertmaster Sergey Chechetko). A 97 year old master was singing his favourite songs and read monologues. The actress Olga Prokofieva was moderating the program.
