Artists of “Helikon-opera” took part in the Crystal ball of “The Crystal Turandot” theatre prize

“The Crystal Turandot” independent theatre prize has been celebrating its XXth anniversary this year and has been continued to held recitals of its laureates.

On the 19th of December The Crystal ball of “The Crystal Turandot” was held in honour of Inna Churikova, one of the leading Russian actresses. Her friends and colleagues took part in the event, among them were artists of “Helikon-opera”, headed by their Artistic director Dmitry Bertman. Larisa Kostiuk, Ksenia Viaznikova and Alexandra Kovalevich performed Joan’s part from “The Maid of Orleans” by P. I. Tchaikovsky, and artists of the male choir performed a specially performed chorus arrangement of Calaf’s part from Puccini’s “Turandot” (the author of arrangement is Valery Kiryanov).
