Soloists of "Helikon-Opera" performed at "Zvezda Teatrala" ceremony of awards

On the 1st of December in the Central House of Actors the totals of the "Zvezda Teatrala" prize were announced. The prize was established by the "Teatral" journal and "New Izvestia" newspaper, the friends of our theatre. Upon the invitation of the "Teatral" publishing office soloists of "Helikon-opera" took part in the festive ceremony of awards. The specific feature of the prize is that the spectators themselves offer the nominees and vote for the best artists, stage directors and the performances of the last season. That evening all theatrical Moscow gathered in the hall of the House of Actors to congratulate the laureates of 2011, among which were Inna Churikova, Vladimir Ivanov, Eugene Mironov, Sergey Bezrukov, Sergey Yushkevich, Yulia Peresild and many other.

Soloists of "Helikon-Opera" the honoured artists of Russia Anna Grechishkina, Svetlana Sozdateleva, laureates of Russian and international contests Marina Kalinina, Svetlana Rossiyskaya, Alexander Miminoshwili and Dmitry Khromov with the help of the concertmaster Elena Sosulnikova performed "Little Swans Dance" by P. I. Tchaikovsky, which parodied the opera cliches.
