A recital of Yuri Riashentsev
On the 16th of May a recital of Yuri Riashentsev, a poet, a writer and a screenwriter, took place in The Central House of Actors named after A. Yablochkina.
The evening was named "Living in all epoches at once" (Yuri Riashentsev is 80!). Director Yanush Yuzefovich, actress Natasha Urbanska, soloists of "Metro" musical, "At Nikitskie vorota" theatre under Mark Rozovsky, The Theatre of Young Spectator under Henrietta Yanovskaya, composer Gennady Gladkov, soloist of "Iberia" ensemble Manana Todadze, bard Yuly Kim took part in the event. The presenters were Yuri Riashentsev and Vadim Zhuk.
The artists of "Helikon-Opera" under Dmitry Bertman also took part in the evening. They are connected with Yuri Riashentsev by the joint project of "Tsarina" opera by D. Tukhmanov, where Yuri Riashentsev and Galina Pollidi are the authors of libretto.
The congratulatory number from "Tsarina" opera was performed by soloist of "Helikon-Opera" Elena Mikhailenko and The People's Artist of Russia, soloist of "Moscow Operetta" theatre, Yuri Vedeneev.
