Norma Fantini sang "Norma" with "Helikon-Opera"
On the 27th of May the concert version of "Norma" by V. Bellini was performed on stage of Svetlanovsky Hall of Moscow International House of Music by soloists, choir and orchestra of "Helikon-Opera", the main part of Norma was sang by famous opera star Italian soprano Norma Fantini. Conductor – Vladimir Ponkin.
The Helikon’s stars Ksenia Viaznikova (Adalgisa), The Honoured Artist of Russia Nikolay Dorozhkin (Pollion), Alexander Kiselev (Orovezo), Alexandra Kovalevich (Clotilde), Dmitry Khromov (Flavius), artists of the choir and orchestra. The spectators had been applauding for a long time.
In the next season 2010-2011 the cooperation of “Helikon-Opera” and Moscow International House of Music will continue. In the context of “Fashionable opera” season ticket “Helikon” will introduce the concert versions of “Eugene Onegin” by P. Tchaikovsky and “Prince Igor” by A. Borodin.
