"Malchishnik" in Helikon-Opera
On the 8th of March the men's part of the troupe have congratulated women with International Women's Day in the original way. "Malchishnik" gala-concert program consisted of the songs by G. Gladkov, V. Shainsky, E. Krylatov and Y. Chichkov from famous cartoons and children films: "The Clay Crow", "The Little Raccoon", "Nu pogodi!", "Bremen musicians", "A Guest from the Future", "The Adventures of Electronic Boy".
The Honoured Artists of Russia Andrey Vylegzhanin, Nikolay Dorozhkin, Vadim Zaplechny, Anatoly Ponomarev, Sergey Toptygin, Sergey Yakovlev, soloists Vladimir Bolotin, Pavel Bykovm Mikhail Verbitsky, Nikolay Galin, Mikhail Guzhov, Mikhail Davydov, Alexey Dedov, Alexander Miminoshwili, Petr Morozov, Dmitry Ovchinnikov, Andrey Palamarchuk, Oles' Paritsky, Dmitry Ponomarev, Oleg Riabets, Mikhail Seryshev, Dmitry Skorikov, Alexey Tikhomirov, Dmitry Khromov, Stanislav Shvets, artists of the choir. Conductor Konstantin Chudovsky, who by the way prepared the concert versions of all numbers.
The spectators and, particularly, female ones accepted the concert with pleasure and in future this concert program will be included to the theatre's repertoire under the name of "Cartoon-Opera"
