Dmitry Bertman has began the production of "Director of the theatre" drama performance

Right after the premiere of the "Love for Three Oranges" by S. Prokofiev the Artistic Director of "Helikon-Opera" theatre People's Artist of Russia Dmitry Bertman has began the production of "Director of the theatre" drama performance upon the motives of W. A. Mozart, A. S. Pushkin and A. Salieri works (designer Maxim Obrezkov, choreographer Edwald Smirnov, producer Leonid Roberman).

People's Artists of Russia Igor Kostolevsky, Mikhail Philippov and Mikhail Yanushkevich, soloists of "Helikon-Opera" the Honoured Artist of Russia Marina Karpechenko andInna Zveniatskaya, as well as the chamber orchestra "Petit Opera" under Irina Plotnikova.

Did Salieri really poison Mozart? Who of them is a genius and who is a villain? Was it possible to happen the other way? In his provocative performance Dmitry Bertman, a magician of opera scene, comes far out of the frames of "little tragedy" by A. S. Pushkin. The immortal music of rival composers, live sound of string orchestra, arias performed by opera prima donnas, strong dramaturgy and convincing actor's play. All of that the director needs to create an unexpected musical drama interpretation of the world-famous story, to fill it with bright comic and deep tragic scenes.

The premiere will take place on the 17th December in Volgograd. Moscow's premiere will happen on the 19th December on stage of State Theatre of Film Actors.
