The premiere of "The Love for Three Oranges" opera by S. Prokofiev

On the 23rd of October "Helikon-Opera" theatre opened its 20th jubilee season with the premiere of "The Love for Three Oranges" production (Director Dmitry Bertman, Set and Costume Designers Igor Nezhny and Tatiana Tulubieva, Conductor Vladimir Ponkin, Light Designer Damir Ismagilov, Choreographer Edwald Smirnov, Chorus Master Denis Kirpanev, Video Director - Dmitry Trofimov). The production period of the opera was bright and interesting, jokes and laugh were heard from rehearsal rooms.

The wonderful actor works were prepared by Alexander Kiselev, Alexey Tikhomirov, Stanislav Shvets (King of Clubs), Vasily Efimov, Andrey Palamarchuk, Dmitry Ponomarev (Prince), the Honoured Artists of Russia Ksenia Viaznikova, Elena Ionova and Larisa Kostiuk (Princess Clarisse), the Honoured Artists of Russia Andrey Vylegzhanin and Sergey Toptygin, Dmitry Yankovsky (Leandro), the Honoured Artists of Russia Vadim Zaplechny, Anatoly Ponomarev (Truffaldino), Pavel Bykov, Alexander Miminoshwili, Petr Morozov, the Honoured Artist of Russia Sergey Yakovlev (Pantalon), Alexey Dedov, Alexander Kiselev, Dmitry Skorikov (Tchelio), People's Artist of Russia Natalia Zagorinskaya, the Honoured Artist of Russia Marina Karpechenko, Elena Mikhailenko (Fata Morgana), the Honoured Artist f Russia Anna Grechishkina, Irina Samoilova, Elizaveta Chudovskaya (Ninetta), Mikhail Guzhov, Alexey Dedov, Dmitry Ovchinnikov (Cook), Mikhail Davydov, Mikhail Nikanorov (Farfarello), the Honoured Artists of Russia Elena Guschina and Ekaterina Oblezova, Svetlana Rossiyskaya (Smeraldina), Vladimir Bolotin, Ilia Ilin (Master of Ceremonies).

Among the spectators of the premiere performances were the old friends of the theatre Peter Fomenko, Eldar Ryazanov, Natalia Kasatkina and Vladimir Vasilev, Igor Kostolevsky, Evgeniy Bogatyrev, Lev Leschenko, Irina Maslennikova, Karina Melik-Pashaeva, Svetlana Sorokina, as well as theatrical critics and journalists.

During all premiere performances the overcrowded hall is chanting Bravo! with the famous march by Sergey Prokofiev.
