Concert of "Helikon-Opera" artists in "Na Strastnom" theatre centre

On the 26th of February in "Na Strastnom" theatre centre the concert of soloists of "Helikon-Opera" took place in the context of annual meeting of the Head of the Theatre Workers Union Alexander Kalyagin with the thatrical society.

The ball was luxirious. Artists of "Helikon-Opera" were meeting guests in costumes from "Gershwin-Gala" performance, reminding that the atmosphere of the Great American Depression is not alien to these times, but it is also not a reason for depriving yourselves of life's pleasures. On stage was "Gershwin-Gala", one of the most popular Helikon's performances in Dmitry Bertman's production. All "Helikon" stars were singing. Denis Kirpanev was conducting the orchestra.

The guests of the evening, theatre celebrities, were enjoying each other society at the festive tables, the main decoration of which were the pancakes with salmon in honour of Maslenitsa. They were served to the favourite Russian song "Vdol po Piterskoy", performed by the soloist of "Helikon-Opera" Alexey Dedov.

The hosts of the evening were RAMT (Russian Academical Youth Theatre) actors Alexey Veselkin and Alexey Miasnikov. At the height of the evening Alexander Kalyagin presented the prize of the Head of the Theatre Workers Union to actress Chulpan Khamatova. Also the Chrystal Pen for the best reporting on theatre life was presented to Olga Streltsova, a reporter from TVC channel, a person well known to Helikon people.
