«Девичник» в «Геликон-Опере

According to a tradition, the fair sex of "Helikon-Opera" gathered to a "Devichnik" party to congratulate the men with the 23rd of February, the Defender's Day in Russia. This time the spectators saw a real "soap opera". The action took place in women's "Russian baths".Soloists of the theatre The Honoured Artists of Russia Marina Andreyeva, Alisa Gitsba, Elena Guschina, Elena Ionova, Marina Karpechenko, soloists Inna Zveniatskaya, Marina Kalinina, Maria Lobasheva, Maria Maskhulia, Irina Samoilova, Elena Semenova, Svetlana Rossiyskaya, performing the best samples of opera classics, organized a "fashion parade" in original costumes, made from towels and sheets (costume designer Irina Darda) and skilfully manipulated with bunches of green birch twigs in baths.

The orchestra was conducted by Viktoria Unguryanu that evening. The directors of the concert were The Honoured Artist of Russia Ekaterina Oblezova and Yuri Ustigov. Dmitry Skorikov, children Sonia Slutskaya and Vova Moshkin also participated in the concert.

The translation of the real army parade became the culmination of the evening. The participants of the concert, wearing wedding veils joined the parade. The spectators made a loud applause.
