HELIKON in Svetlanosky Hall of Moscow International Music House

On the 23rd of January, Friday, for the first time NON-stage, NON-concert version, but the REAL PERFORMANCE OF "GERSHWIN-GALA" was held on the stage of Svetlanovsky Hall of Moscow International House of Music - the first performance in the history of this concert hall.

This is the first from the two performances of the season-ticket "Helikon-Opera" presents...". The House of Music hospitably presented its best halls to "Helikon-Opera" artists for the period of reconstruction of their own building.

"Gershwin-Gala" performance is an entertaining opera-jazz show, staged according the laws of high art, the only task of which is to create a good mood. A symphonic orchestra, leading soloists, 50 artists of the choir on the stage is a respectful greeting to George Gerswin from our present time.

On the 23rd of January the stage of Svetlanovsky Hall of Moscow Music House entered People's Artist of Russia Natalia Zagorinskaya, The Honoured Artists of Russia Nikolay Dorozhkin, Marina Karpechenko, Ekaterina Oblezova, soloists Svetlana Sozdateleva, Alexander Kiselev, Ekaterina Trebeleva, Dmitry Ovchinnikov, Mikhail Seryshev, Vladimir Bolotin, Julia Burliaeva, Marina Kalinina, Maria Lobasheva, Maria Maskhulia, Dmitry Skorikov,Yuri Ustiugov, Alexey Dedov, Emil Matveyev, Oles Paritskiy, Viacheslav Starodubtsev, Dmitry Khromov. Conductor - The Honoured Artist of Russia Denis Kirpanev.

Those, who wished to buy an extra ticket, attacked the main entrance of MIHM. The hall was overloaded. The spectators were satisfied with the show and applauded for 20 minutes.

In the context of the same season-ticket the vocal evenings of the soloists of the theatre from the cycle "The Gift of Singing Soul" by Mikhail Egiazaryan will be held in Chamber hall. On the 1st of March on the stage of Svetlanovsky hall the concert version of "Nabucco" opera will be presented. The opera appeared in the Helikon's repertoire in 2004. The premiere performances were held in Dijon and Paris. Since 2005 "Nabucco", in production by Dmitry Bartman, Igor Nezhny and Tatiana Tulubieva is presented on stage of Mariinsky theatre of St. Petersburg. Unfortunately, it is difficult in Moscow to find a hall to locate the enourmous decorations.

In support of the fact that the collaboration of the Moscow International House of Music and Helikon-Opera is going to be successful, the plans for the next season already approved:

The 28th of January 2010 - N. A. Rimsky Korsakov. "The Golden Cockerel". To the 100th anniversary since the first production.

The 27th of March 2010 - J. Strauss. "Die Fliedermaus". The performance devoted to the memory of Mstislav Rostropovich. The production of "Die Fliedermaus" in Evian (France) in 2000 was the first joint work of M. Rostropovich and D. Bertman.

The 27th of May 2010 - V. Bellini. "Norma" (with the expected participation of the world's opera star Inva Mula)
