"Helikon-Opera" tour ended in Bulgaria

Завершились гастроли «Геликон-Оперы» в Болгарии

During the festival of Russian culture in Bulgaria Moscow musical theatre "Helikon-Opera" presented "Boris Godunov" by M. P. Moussorgsky and "Il barbiere di Siviglia" by  G. Rossini, which took place on stage of Sofia National Opera on the 24th and 25th October.

Helikon stars were brought to the performances. "Boris Godunov" was performed by Alexey Tikhomirov (Boris Godunov), Ilia Ilin (Feodor), Anna Grechishkina (Xenia), Dmitry Ponomarev (Vassily Shujsky), Peter Morozov (Andrey Schelkalov), Dmitry Skorikov (Pimen), Nikolay Dorozhkin (The Pretender), Xenia Viaznikova (Marina Mniszek), Sergey Toptygin (Rangoni), Oxana Kornievskaya (Hostess of the Inn), Alexey Dedov (Varlaam), Dmitry Khromov (Missail), Dmitry Kalin (Mitiukha), artists of the choir. Conductor Vladimir Ponkin. In "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" Vassily Efimov (Almaviva), Karina Grigoryan (Rosina), Marina Karpechenko (Bertha), Mikhail Guzhov (Don Basilio), Dmitry Ovchinnikov (Don Bartolo), Andrey Vylegzhanin (Figaro), Alexey Dedov (Fiorello, Officer), Mikhail Laverov (Ambrogio), Ilya Ilin (Notary) performed. Conductor Konstantin Tchudovsky.

The Festival of Russian culture took place under support of the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation.
