The exibition of photographs from the family archive of Boris Polevoy

For the fourth year already "Helikon-Opera" theatre celebrates the Victory Day with "Fallen from the Sky" performance under the motives of "The Story of a Real Man" opera and "Alexander Nevsky" cantata by S. S. Prokofiev in Dmitry Bertman's production. The photo exhibition, devoted to this holiday and the 100th anniversary since Boris Polevoy's birth, opened in the foyer of Helikon-Opera. Boris Polevoy was the outstanding writer, journalist, fighter for the world, talented, brave and honest man, author of documentary "The Story of a Real Man", which underlied the the same name opera by S. S. Prokofiev. The photo exhibition presents rare photo documents from the writer's family archive, brief fragments from his works.

The spectators, who came to see the performance, highly appreciated the exhibition. It will be open until 19th of May.
