New Year in the Big Hall of conservatory


On the 31st of December the Big Hall of Moscow Conservatory turned into a magic kingdom, where the characters of the famous fairy operas "Ruslan and Liudmila", "The Snow Maiden", "The Golden Cockerel", "The Tale of Tsar Saltan", "Kaschey the Immortal" and "The Nut-Cracker" ballet told spectators the enchanting story how the miracles happen, dreams and wishes come true on New Year's night.


The stars of Helikon-Opera theatre People's Artist of Russia Natalia Zagorinskaya, Honoured Artists of Russia Larisa Kostiuk and Nikolay Dorozhkin, laureates of international contests Anna Grechishkina and Ksenia Viaznikova, soloists Irina Samoilova, Mikhail Guzhov, Peter Morozov, Mikhail Seryshev and Dmitry Skorikov took part in the concert. Viacheslav Starodubtsev in Mouse King costume was the presenter of the event. The conductors were People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Ponkin and Konstantin Chudovsky. Director's Assistant - Ilya Ilin.


In the end of the show Ded Moroz and Snow Maiden wished spectators a Happy New Year and lighted a Christmas tree.
