Conductor Seiji Ozawa held a rehersal in "Helikon-Opera"
On the 27th of March a famous Japanese conductor Seiji Ozawa held a rehearsal with his orchestra before the performance in Kremlin on the occasion of the 80th anniversary since the birth of Mstislav Rostropovich. For rehearsing the conductor was proposed either a Big or a Small Hall of "Helikon-Opera", but he liked the luxurious lounge of the ancient mansion in Nikitskaya. Maestro was pleased with the lights and acoustic. Ozawa praised "Helikon-Opera" and its friendly atmosphere and wished the reconstruction of the building to begin very soon. He also received a small present from "Helikon-Opera".
