"Students to teachers" concert took place in "Helikon-Opera"

"Students to teachers" concert took place in "Helikon-Opera" on the 7th November. By this concert soloists of our theatre decided to pay debts to their vocal coaches. The idea of Dmitry Bertman to make such concerts every year found the response among soloists and spectators. These concerts will be the additional incentive for artists to improve their vocal skills and to gladden their pedagogues year by year.

This day such maestros like L. Kazanskaya, E. Sapozhnikova, T. Semenova, V. Goryachkin, V. Bogdanovskaya, R. Lisitsian, V. Piavko, B. Maysuradze, A. Loshak, V. Scherbakov, D. Vdovin, L. Zimnenko and others came to "Helikon-Opera" to listen to their students.

The program of the concert was bright and rich: every artists addressed warm words to their favourite vocal coaches and presented flowers to them. The works by M. Glinka, M. Musorgsky, S. Rakhmaninov, P. Tchaikovsky, D. Shostakovich, G. Verdi, W. A. Mozart, J. Offenbach, G. Rossini and other great composers were performed by People's Artist of Russia Leonid Zimnenko, Honoured Artists of Russia Elena Ionova, Tatiana Kuindji, Igor Tarasov, as well as Karina Grigoryan, Maria Maskhulia, Maria Maksakova, Elena Mikhailenko, Elena Semenova, Svetlana Sozdateleva, Vasily Efimov, Mikhail Guzhov, Mikhail Davydov, Dmitry Kalin, Dmitry Ovchinnikov, Petro Morozov, Sergey Toptygin. New generation of "Helikon-Opera", artists of the First studio, sang an ensemble from "La Finta Gardineria" of W. A. Mozart. The final number of the concert was "Libiamo" from "La Traviata performed by People's artist of Russia Badri Maysuradze and all participants of the concert.

After the concert a festive buffet was served for guests. Teachers and students could communicate in warm friendly atmosphere.
