WE ANNOUNCE THE JURY AND MEDIA JURY OF THE NANO-OPERA COMPETITION!

On May 20 the VI International competition of young opera directors "Nano-Opera" will start at the Moscow Musical Theatre Helikon-Opera, but until then we are pleased to announce the panel of professional and media judges, which have already started.

The professional jury consisted of artistic directors, directors and stage-directors of foreign and Russian opera houses:

Chairman: Dmitry Bertman – Director General-Artistic Director of the Moscow musical theatre "Helikon-Opera", People's Artist of the Russian Federation

Jury members:

Toleubek Alpiyev – First Deputy Director of the State Opera and Ballet theatre “Astana Opera” (Republic of Kazakhstan);

Catherine Doulova – General Director of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus (Republic of Belarus);

Georgy Isaakyan – Artistic Director of the Moscow State Opera and Ballet Theatre for Young Audience named after Natalia Sats (Russia);

Željko Andrić – Director of Serbian National theatre Novi Sad (Serbia);

Giancarlo del Monaco – Opera manager and stage director (Italy);

Pavel Sorokin – Principal stage director of the Rostov State Musical Theatre (Russia);

Aleksandr Petrov – Artistic Director of the St. Petersburg State Children’s Musical Theatre “Zazerkalye” (Russia);

Vyacheslav Starodubtsev – Principal stage director of the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre NOVAT (Russia);

Alexander Titel – Artistic director of opera of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music theatre (Russia);

Ramiz Usmanov – Director of the State Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Alisher Navoi (Republic of Uzbekistan).

The media jury consisted of:
