Congratulations with the Iolanta's premiere

Today is a very important day for our theatre. From now on one more masterpiece of P. I. Tchaikovsky has appeared in the Helikon-opera’s repertoire. Congratulations with the premiere of “Iolanta”! We hope, that our dear spectators will love it.

Today, on May 17 Svetlana Kas'yan (Iolanta), Ivan Gyngazov (Vaudémont), Mikhail Guzhov (King René), Konstantin Brzhinsky (Robert), Dmitry Yankovsky (Ibn-Hakia), Melaniya Zaridze (Marta), Dmitri Skorikov (Bertrand), Anna Grechishkina (Brigitta), Valentina Hoffer (Laura), Ivan Volkov (Alméric), Kirill Novohatko (Musician) and Ekaterina Oblezova (Blind lace maker) have embodied the heroes of this amazing opera.

«Often, we live in the gadgets and do not see the miracles, which are situated beside. So we are dazzled by the gadgets sometimes. Though we are physically sighted, our heart is becoming a little bit blind…», - said the director Sergey Novikov before the premiere. Musical director and conductor Eugene Brazhnik has led the performance phenomenally. We are thankful to the stage crew, all participants of the show, everybody, who was preparing our “Iolanta” to birth. We wish the performance a long life and true love of the spectators.
