Soiree Lyrique Montreal-Moscou
Soiree Lyrique Montreal-Moscou
The project SOIRÉES LYRIQUES MONTREAL-MOSCOU could only happen owing to the meeting of the director general and artistic of «Helikon-Opera» Dmitry Bertman and director general and artistic of «Théâtre Lyrichorégra 20» of Montreal, Canada Mr Alain Nonat.
The aim of the project is to establish a mechanism making the young singers from both Russia and Canada closer and thus to create a cultural bridge between Moscow and Montreal - two cities with the rich opera heritage.
The peculiarity of the concerts is that the ensembles only from the great operas of Mozart, Rossini and Verdi are performed by 10 singers – 5 from each country.
The fist concert will take place on the 30th of November 2017 in Moscow, “Helikon-Opera”, and the second one – in the hall of Claude Champagne à Montreal on the 16th of June 2018.
The project was supported by the OPERA CARES FOUNDATION, «Théâtre Lyrichorégra 20» of Montreal and “Helikon-Opera”, Moscow.
