Concert "Magic of baroque"
A FAMOUS ORGANIST AND PROFESSOR OF MOSCOW CONSERVATORY EUGENIA KRIVITSKAJA AND THE SOLOISTS OF MOSCOW MUSIC THEATRE “HELIKON-OPERA” INVITE THE LOVERS OF ANTIQU MUSIC TO VISIT THE CONCERT “MAGIC OF BAROQUE”, WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE ON DECEMBER, 2016 IN SHAKHOVSKAJA HALL.
The project started in May 2016, when The King of the Music instruments – a special guest – has been installed in the theatre space of the White Column Hall of Shakhovskaja. The defile of kings, beautiful women, magicians, the sounds of organ, the comments of Eugenia Krivitskaja created the atmosphere of the baroque epoch.
On the 10th of December 2016 we again invite you to make a travel o the illusory world of the old operas, listen to the sacral compositions getting absorbed by their exciting poetic atmosphere.
There are the following pieces in the program – the abstracts from ““GIULIO CESARE IN EGITTO”, “RINALDO” by Handel, “Bajazet” by Vivaldi, arias and and canzonettas of Pergolezi and Scarlatti.
The performers are – The Moscow Prize Winner Eugenia Krivitskaja (organ), the soloists of Helikon-Opera, the people’s artist of Russia Alisa Gitsba (soprano), the people’s artist of Russia Kzenia Viaznikova (mezzo-soprano), Dmitry Khromov (tenor), Irina Rabchevskaja (violin). A special guest of the program – the soloist of Tcheliabinsk Philharmonic Society, the international contests’ winner Sergei Vanin (counter tenor)
