Dmitry Skorikov: "...and I will fall in love before November!"

In the classical music the romance (love song) has occupied a special place : the famous Russian composers created these little masterpieces on the lyrics of the greatest Russian poets. In the first part of the concert the soloists of "Helikon-Opera" Dmitry Skorikov and Anna Pegova will present the romances of M. Glinka, A. Dargomyzhsky, P. Tchaikovsky, G. Sviridov. Working over this November program, Dmitry has given the name of the program not accidentally - in the romance of Georgy Sviridov on the A. S. Pushkin's lyrics "Driving under the Izhora...", the last line is "...and I will fall in love before November". This romance will end the first part of the concert.

In the second part the audience will listen to the rarities – ancient Russian romances and smash-hits of the Soviet music. Dmitry will be joined by an instrumental trio: a pianist Vladimir Rodionov, a bass player Sergey Kirichenko and a drummer Alex Berezovsky. Natalia Arutjunova (piano) will also take part in the concert.
