THE BUILDING OF THE THEATRE «HELIKON-OPERA» IS RECOGNIZED AS THE BEST REALIZED PROJECT IN THE FIELD OF CONSTRUCTION OF CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL EXPLOITATION

In the summer of 2016 the Department of Urban Planning Policy of Moscow held the competition “The Best Realized Project in the Field of Construction”. By the unanimous decision of the jury and the residents of Moscow voting on the portal “The Active Citizen”, the building of “Helikon-Opera” in Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street is recognized as the best realized project among the objects of cultural and educational exploitation in 2015.

On the 12th of August, 2016 Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobianin congratulated the builders with their professional holiday and handed to the General and Artistic Director of Helikon-Opera Dmitry Bertman a memorial sign – “The Best Realized Project among the Objects of Cultural and Educational Exploitation in 2015”.

Also the award was received by the Director General of OJSC «Mosinzhproekt» Mars Gazizulin. The ceremony was held in the Olympic complex Luzhniki.

«The Builders’ Day also became my professional holiday, as for many of our builders the Theater’s Day has become their holiday too, – said Dmitry Bertman, who took an active part in the reconstruction of the theatre. When Sergei Sobianin was appointed as a mayor, he got a great chance to make a high-profile event — just cancel the entire reconstruction project. But he demonstrated sensitivity, reliability, loyalty, and brought this long-running story to the “happy-end”. I will stay grateful to Sergei Sobianin for the rest of my life”.
