Rehearsals for the opera "The Rake's Progress" by Igor Stravinsky are in full swing in Helsinki
Stage director Dmitry Bertman and choreographer Edvald Smirnov from Helikon-opera are working upon the premiere. Hartmut Schörghofer (Germany) and Erika Turunen (Finland) will create sets and costumes for the play. Conductor - Eivind Gulberg Jensen (Norway).
Last time "The Rake's Progress" opera was performed on the stage of the Finnish National Opera almost 60 years ago. From March, 18 to May 6 the audience will see 10 performances.
