Born in the city of Taganrog, Rostov Region. After graduating from Tchaikovsky Music School, piano class, he entered the Taganrog Aviation Engineering College named after V. Petlyakov, where he specialized in "technician-designer of aircrafts". Then he joined the conducting and choral faculty of Music College, where he became interested in academic singing in the class of vocal coach N. Shlotova. Entered the Rostov Conservatory named after S. Rachmaninov the vocal department, class of prof. B. Mazun in 1995. Being the 4th year student of the Conservatory he debuted in Rostov Musical Theater in Puccini's "La Boheme" opera in the parts of Schaunard and Marcel.
Since 2004 he has been a soloist of the Moscow Academic Chamber Choir under Vladimir Minin, where in 2005 he sang Tony's part in Bernstein's "West Side Story" (directed by Wayne Marshall, UK). In 2010 he performed solo in "War Letters" vocal-symphonic poem by V. Gavrilin, accompanied by the State Symphony Orchestra (conducted by P. Kogan), in 2012 at the festival of Russian National Orchestra under M. Pletnev he sang in Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin" as the Lead Singer.
In April 2016 he was invited to Helikon-Opera to sing Canio in Leoncavallo's "Pagliacci" and made a successful debut, after which he was offered a permanent job in the theater.
In September 2016 Vitaly Serebryakov performed Platon Karavayev in "War and Peace" by S. Prokofiev with State Symponic Capella of Russia under V. Polyanskiy.
