DAVID POSULIKHIN

David Posulikhin was born in Oryol. After graduating from the Gnesin College of the Russian Academy of Music with a degree in “Vocal Art” under the guidance of the Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Nikolai Vasiliev, he entered the Russian University of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in the musical theater faculty, in the workshop of the People's Artist of Russia, Dmitry Bertman.
During his studies at the musical theatre faculty of GITIS, he actively participated in concerts: in Bedřich Smetana's opera “The Bartered Bride” he performed the role of Vašek; in Gaetano Donizetti's opera “Rita” - Beppo, and in Mikael Tariverdiev's opera “The Marriage of Figarenko” he impersonated the role of Nikolai Figarenko.
Since 2018, he was a soloist of the Youth Program of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia. In November 2018 he made his debut at the Moscow Musical Theatre Helikon-opera as a guest soloist (W. A. Mozart “Die Zauberflöte” – Tamino). He joined the Helikon-opera troupe in 2022.
David Posulikhin participated in the XIX Russian Competition-Festival of Children and Youth Artistic Creativity “Firebird” (Ivanovo, winner of the “Grand Prix” in 2012), the Moscow Open Festival of Academic Solo Singing “Silver Voice” (Moscow, 1st degree laureate, 2013), the XX Anniversary International Vocalists Competition ‘Bella Voce” (1stprize laureate, 2014), the 14th Youth Delphic Games of Russia (2nd prize laureate, 2015), and the IX International Vocal Competition named after A. Ivanov (Tver, 2nd prize laureate, 2015).
In November 2019, he was nominated for the Russian National Theatre Award and Festival “The Golden Mask” in the category of “Opera/Male Role” for his performance as Tamino in “Die Zauberflöte” by W.A. Mozart.
