Daniil Garkunov

Born in 2000 in Maikop. In 2020, he graduated from the Adyghe Republican College of Arts named after Umar Tkhabisimov(class of Skhatbiy Shkhabatsev). In 2025, he graduated from the Rachmaninov Rostov State Conservatory (class of Professor Natalia Petrova).
In 2023, he became a finalist and participant in the gala concert of the educational project Opera Institute.
From September 2024 to July 2025, Daniil undertook the internship at the Moscow Musical Theater Helikon-opera as part of the III Young Opera Artists Programme, after which he was accepted to the troupe of the theater as a soloist.
During the season he performed the roles: Tamino (Die Zauberflöte by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart), Paris (La belle Hélène by Jacques Offenbach), Tom Rakewell (The Rake’s Progress by Igor Stravinsky) on the Helikon stage.
Daniil is the laureate of international and national competitions:
