Valentina Pravdina
soprano
Born in 1996. After graduating from the vocal faculty of the Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory named after M.I. Glinka (Department of Solo Singing, Music and Theatre Art, class of Professor L.B. Dudoladova), she continued her education at the Galina Vishnevskaya opera singing center (class of People's Artist of the USSR, Professor M.F. Kasrashvili).
Valentina is a graduate of the II Youth program for opera artists of the Helikon Opera Theatre and the Art-Helios. During her internship at Helikon, she performed such parts as Iolanta in Tchaikovsky's “Iolanta”, Mimi in Puccini's “La Boheme”, and the Mermaid in “Opera fairy tale welcomes guests”.
Valentina is a laureate of various international competitions:
- II Prize and special prize “Hope” of the VI International Georgy Sviridov Chamber Singing Competition, Kursk, 2017;
- I Prize of the VI International Natalia Shpiller Vocalist Competition, Moscow, 2019;
- I Prize of the III International Open Children and Youth Competition of Academic Solo Singing, named after People's Artist of Russia Galina Pisarenko, Nizhny Novgorod, 2019;
- II Prize of the 10th Open All-Russian Competition of Young Vocalists named after Nadezhda Obukhova, Lipetsk, 2022;
- Laureate of the 50th All-Russian Review Competition of Music School Graduates.
- III Prize of IX International opera artists contest named after Galina Vishnevskaya, Moscow 2024;
- IV Prize of XXVII Vocalists international contest named after Mikhail Glinka, 2024;
- II Prize, Belvedere Singing Competition, 2025
- 3rd Prize of CLIP International contest, Portofino, Italy
