Anna Grechishkina

Anna Grechishkina was born in Tula, graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical University with a specialization in “Teacher of Piano and Solo Singing”. She improved her skills at the master classes of outstanding opera singers in Russia and Germany. She is the winner of the All-Russian Competition “Studencheskaya Vesna (Students' Spring)”, Vladimir, 1996, a Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2009). From 1998 to 2001 she was the leading soloist of the Natalya Sats Children’s Musical Theater. She made her debut as the Queen of the Night (“Die Zauberflöte” by W. A. Mozart), participated in the experimental opera plays as a part of the “Otkrytaya Stsena (Open Stage)” project of the Moscow Culture Committee: “Die Entführung aus dem Serail” by W. A. Mozart, “Narcissus” by V. Rebikov, “La Mort de Tintagiles” by S. Neller.

Since 2001 Anna Grechishkina has been a soloist of Helikon-Opera. She has a wide chamber repertoire from baroque to atonal music. Since 2013 she has been closely cooperating with the string quartet “Pro Quatuor”, banding the soloists of the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra. Anna Grechishkina appeared on the stage of the Gluck Festival in Nurnberg (Germany).
