“The Golden cockerel” sang in Bari for the first time!

With the great triumph the premiere of the “The Golden cockerel” took placein Bari. The production was presented at the Teatro Petruzzelli - the fourth Italian theatre by size. Congratulations to the stage-director Dmitry Bertman, conductor Evgeny Brazhnik, our soloists and all the team, who was working on the production in Bari!

The opera “The Golden cockerel”, based on the A.S. Pushkin fairy tale, – is the last one and the most mysterious of the fifteen operas by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov. The performance in Bari - is the co-production between Helikon-opera theatre and Teatro Petruzzelli. Stage Director - Dmitry Bertman, conductor Evgeny Brazhnik, set and Costumes Designer Ene-Liis Semper (Estonia), lighting Designer Thomas Hase (USA),chorus Master Evgeny Ilyin,  choreographer: Edwald Smirnov.

Soloists of the Helikon-opera theatre participate in the production: Mikhail Guzhov / Alexey Dedov – Tsar Dodon, Dmitry Khromov – Tsarevich Gvidon, Maxim Perebeynos – Tsarevich Afron, Dmitry Skorikov / Grigory Soloviov – General Polkan, Ksenia Viaznikova – Amelfa, Ivan Volkov / Mikhail Seryshev – Astrologer, Lidiya Svetozarova / Anna Grechishkina – Tsaritsa of Shemakha, Maya Barkovskaya – The Golden cockerel, Bogdan Motruk, Anton Fadeev, Elena Buinova, Ksenia Lisanskaya, Olga Melkumova, Elena Shevchenko - dancers, choir and orchestra of the Teatro Petruzzelli.
