SERGEY TOPTYGIN (BARITON)
Sergey graduated from Moscow State Conservatory, vocal class of prof. A. Loshak (1996). Next year he became a laureate of an International vocalist contest in Moscow.

Since 1996 Sergey works in "Helikon-Opera" where performs practically whole baritonal repetoire: from Russian opera, first of all, Tchaikovsky(Tomsky in "The Queen of Spades", Rene The King in "Iolanta", Gremin, Zaretsky in "Eugene Onegin", Kochubey in "Mazepa") to Western European classic (Commander, Leporello in "Don Giovanni" by Mozart, main part in "Don Pasquale" by Donizetti, Basilio in "Il barbiere di Siviglia" by Rossini, Amonasro in "Aida" and Nabucco in the same name opera by Verdi. Sergey Toptygin toured Austria, France, Lebanon, Spain, Luxembourg, Belgium, Estonia.

In Toptygin's recital you will hear the famous arias from Russian and European operas, as well as the popular vocal miniatures (like "Blokha"/"The Flea" by Musorgsky.

The honoured artist of Russia Larisa Kostiuk (mezzo-soprano) and Svetlana Sozdateleva (soprano) as well as the orchestra and choir of "Helikon-Opera" also take part in a concert..
